Kylie meets with her band and her voice coach, Ron Anderson. Kylie has always had a vibe of authenticity about her. Here, she speaks to her artistic validity in the Pop-music landscape, yet without being pretentious. It’s also refreshing to see that after decades of singing, a voice coach is not “beneath her.” Anderson isn’t teaching a novice how to sing, so much as guiding a pro on how to sing efficiently and comfortably. The song, I Believe In You, is tricky. The verses and bridge are normally sung in a lower register, yet the chorus has a high vocal climb at the “I” in I Believe In You. (Depending on the concert, she’ll sometimes let the backing vocalists tackle the climb in some of the choruses, maybe to help preserve her voice throughout the show.)
