It was only natural that Pop—and style—icon Kylie Minogue launched a series of perfume fragrances. This short clip features a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the “Showtime” commercial and photo shoot, as well as a quick interview with her Creative Director and the photographer, William Baker. Glammed and bedazzled; sleek and sparkling, Kylie proves once again that it’s virtually impossible to catch a bad angle of her. One of many highlights: Kylie donning blond bangs and blue eye shadow. Baker also takes a moment to convey what Kylie represents to him as a performer, adding that’s she’s the type of woman with that certain "[indefinable] quality that makes her radiate light.”
Double Dose: William Baker’s showreel, highlighting the many projects he has styled and directed. Most of the clips feature his greatest muse. One of my fave shots: a space-age Kylie in a long pink and blue coat, standing atop a massive hovering silver skull; this was the opening reveal on her 2009 North American tour.
