Dose of Minogue: Kylie Aphrodite Two Years Ago Today

On May 21, 2011, Kylie brought her Aphrodite Live tour to San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Although it was a visually edited version of her Aphrodite Les Folies European tour, Kylie did not skimp on much else. From the opening number, where she donned her white-and-gold Grecian outfit, to the Esther Williams-inspired swimsuit and cap for the finale, Kylie and crew navigated the smaller stage setup with graceful ease and unwavering energy. As Kylie ascended on the golden half-shell, the crowd erupted as we welcomed back the Goddess of Pop.



Our “Ben Her”: Kylie Believes in San Francisco. After Illusion, which featured Kylie rising up on the lift on a golden Pegasus, she jumped into her awaiting chariot for I Believe In You. It’s another occurrence where the crowd answered her questions with a roar. This time to the question, “Do you believe?” Always have, always will. BSo
