Garbage on “The Late Show with David Letterman”

Garbage made a recent appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. This clip, featuring Battle In Me from their release, Not Your Kind of People, goes to show that pure, steady-paced rock ‘n roll will never die. The ever-cool Shirley Manson, with her left hand on her hip, smirks and slinks around in signature black, a slicked-back red (robo) ponytail, and silver triangle-shaped accessories. Every lyric consciously conveyed to the audience, Manson sells the story without rushing; her band doing just the same as well. Who needs a grand spectacle—Garbage simply shoots their sound right to the audience, through the cameras, and beyond. BSo
